SIGUE SOÑANDO
Legend say that Polínexa, mother of Alexander the Great, she dreamed that her son had been fathered by Zeus. The birth coincided with the victory of her husband, Philip of Macedonia, in the horse race of the Games of 256 BC. In honor of this victory, Polínexa changed her name to Olympia. Her dream was fulfilled. Alexander was the Zeus of the then known world. An indefatigable conqueror. The sport is now as war and his figures the new myths of our era. Let's dream.

OÍR, VER Y CALLAR (XIII) / LISTEN, WATCH AND SILENT

DARRENT SÓLO PASABA POR ALLÍ / GANGS OF DENVER
Gangs of Denver.
The New Year's Day was the last of the activity of football player Darrent Williams. As a Mafia movie, the young athlete of the team Denver Broncos was shot by unknown assailants while riding in his limousine. A few minutes earlier had attended a party hosted by his team mates and the Denver Nuggets, the neighboring club basketball in the NBA. Everything indicates that the player was involved in spite of a fight between street gangs. Gangs of Denver. The Cornerback in Football is a defensive player, in charge of stopping at any price to rivals or recover bad passes of quarterback. Darrent Williams (1982-2007) made his living with this work, a good salary that allowed a privileged status and maintain a white limousine "Hummer" of 23 seats, in the streets of the U.S. city of Denver.
The young Broncos player was shot in his vehicle. Police believe he was murdered by three men riding in a white Chevrolet "Tahoe". The Chevrolet is owned by Brian Hicks, accused of several crimes, jailed on bail of one million dollars and a member of a street gang called "the Crips". This is important. Williams attended a New Year's Eve party at the local The Shelter, along with NBA players Kenyon Martin and other friends, some members of the gang "The Bloods".
Bloods and Crips do not have good relations and the conflict soon erupted. Denver police believe that young Crips thought that Williams was a member of the rival gang and they decided to kill him out of the party. Darrent enjoyed just two hours of the year 2007, perhaps from being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

SUEÑOS / DREAMS (LIII): LA GENERACIÓN PERDIDA / THE LOST GENERATION

It is not easy to complicate life as much as U.S. football player Michael Dwayne Vick (Newport, 1980). Born in a poor neighborhood and extended family, Vick developed his talent to reach the NFL, the Mecca of the oval ball. He was the undisputed leader in Atlanta in 2004, when he became the richest player in history, $ 138 million plus advertising revenue. "Time to be quiet and think about the future? Soon he was accused of spreading genital herpes and falsifying his identity to the police, insulting fans and for drug possession. In 2007, police raided his ranch in Virginia and discovered with horror that there were organized dogfighting and were tortured with methods less fierce psychopath. Vick was sentenced to 23 months in prison and he was sanctioned by the NFL. He lost the contract, the sponsors and perhaps the best years of his career. Today Michael cleans the kitchen of the prison, 12 cents an hour, waiting for another opportunity. A dog's life for a person who failed to care for them.
